Talk: A new perspective for agile teams: recognize yourself with process mining
Agile teams want to develop themselves and their processes in an organized manner.
Process mining is a relatively new discipline that has evolved from the need to connect the worlds of data mining and business process management.
This allows a new perspective to be explored and one's working world to be recognized anew. This technique is particularly well suited for software development, since we generate masses of meta data on our processes every day.
The talk discusses metrics and appropriate visualizations to answer questions of agile development teams. The metrics give team members better access to the metadata of their work reality. This should enable the team to better understand their work and to adapt their processes sensibly based on the information obtained.
